Abstract submission - MONID 2026

4th (Inter-) National Conference on Infectious Disease Modeling

National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina in Halle (Saale)

20-22 May 2026 in Halle (Saale)

 

Abstract submission deadline: 25/01/2026.

We invite participants to submit contributions in the following categories:

A) Contributed Talk:

  • Presentation of approximately 10-15 min, including Q&A.
  • Submission is possible for specific thematic categories.

B) Mini-Symposium: 

  • With moderation
  • Complete session is approx. 90 min long and consists of:
    • 3-5 min short presentation of the topic and speakers
    • 60-75 min talks
    • 15-30 min discussion. 
  • In addition to a title and short description of the mini-symposium, submissions require four speakers, each with a presentation title and abstract.

C) Poster:

  • Showcase your research and discuss with colleagues in the poster hall.
  • Submission is possible for specific thematic categories.

+ Elevator Pitch:

  • Young scientists are especially invited to give a 1-minute preview of their poster supported by 1 slide.
  • This is only available in combination with a poster.
